Fast Ford Trip To September's European Ford Event, Holland
When: September 8-10 inclusive
Where: European Ford Event, Landgraaf, Holland
How much: £135 per person
Organised by the XR/RS Club of Holland, the European Ford Event is the number-one show for Ford enthusiasts living on mainland Europe. Like a slightly scaled-down Ford Fair, the show is jam-packed with Fords from all over Europe and in styles seldom seen in the UK, including some classic Euro-lookers. With big club attendances, plus a drag strip and handling course to try your car out on, it's a cracker of a show. Plus the Nurburgring is only an hour-and-a-half's drive away! A few Brits in-the-know have been going over to the show for years, but now it's your turn!
We've put together a discounted package in conjunction with Continental Car Tours to take you, your car and your mates over to Holland in September. The price includes 2 nights accommodation at a three-star hotel in nearby Heerlen and return Dover-Calais ferry - the show's about three hours' drive from Calais.
How Much?
Just £135 per person based on two people sharing a car.
Price includes:
Return Dover-Calais ferry, and two nights accommodation in a three-star hotel
Entry to the show will be 12-13 Euros (approx £8.50)
How To Book
Call Continental Car Tours now on 01304 380244 with your credit/debit card handy. To secure your place, CCT requires a deposit of £100 per car.
Extras:
Hotel (4*) in Dover area for night before departure, £75 per dbl, room only
Eurotunnel supplement £50 per car
Hull-Zeebrugge supplement £179 per car
Portsmouth-Cherbourg supplement £149 per car
Additional night in destination hotel £80 per room, b/b
Thanks,
Simon

F1 hotel is about a 10 min drive of the centre of Heerlen where there are load of cafe's for some nightlife action
A 30 min drive would bring you to Maastricht which centre has also lot's of places for some entertainment.
And a added bonus is that the F1 hotel is just / or less then 5 min drive to the Megaland .

Wiebe,
This is the correct link to your videofile:
http://s199.photobucket.com/albums/a...ent=efe062.flv
320Bhp sierra <=> 720Bhp escort
-------6.38 sec <=> 6.08 sec------
Only 4 cars could manage a sub 7 sec. run. The Escort though could see EASILY a sub 6 sec. run, but he was just 'playing' with the other cars..
Not bad!

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Bit of a dumb question but is it a 3 day show, or just a 1 day? If so is Sunday going to be the main day and what will happen on Saturday and Monday?
