Big thank you to Bara and Dennis.
Ran the car last weekend at a race circuit here in Germany, Schleiz dreieck.
The car performed very well with new parts. No problems and although I'm no profi, I'd say the car was very good through the corners.
Bara supplied,
front plated 6 1/2" diff.
Rear 7 1/2" 4.44:1. 240Nm VC.
Big tooth gearkit, 4.44 step down gears. 60Nm VC.
D Osbourne supplied the 7 1/2" rear beam. Now the rear wheels can be set up properly. I could write down the set up if anyones interested. (in the other forum if required)
Thanks guys.
kenny.

He was still there 3 weeks ago, didn't mention being taken over.
did a good job on my rear arms and beam.
car is better in the corners now, (just need more power).

you are right, dennis did reduce the size of the Dome operation a couple of years back, he now operates on a much smaller basis, in the centre unit of the block of units he owns in Bromsgrove...
The cars dennis has built over the years are of a magnificent build quality and his knowledge is immense, like a lot of other guys with boreham connections, the transition from ford to Msport left a void, which could either be going Jap or change direction as Gordon Spooner did....there were so many good smaller ford teams back in the 80's and 90's,Dome, RED, MTD, MLP, Spooners and Malcolm Wilson Motorsport, sad loss that some shrank and some went...

just to clarify then
is dome still running customer cars ?
are they still building cars?
i thought T-A-L were doing the transmissions
haven't heard of T-A-L in a while, are they still going or are they
concentrating more on metro 6r4's
they used to have some juicy rally cars for sale and parts available
and regards the teams that used to operate, yes its sad to see them
go,i have seen plenty of firms go by the by,but i know a lad who
used to work on RED and Mike Littles MLP cars
i put work his way and we sometimes talk about the old days like
when they would finish a car for the BRC and take it out for a spin
around a industrial estate at 2 in the morning
he still knows all about group a and n sierras which is nice

hi lads
just to comfirm that dennis is still going but he only does it on a small scale now
he still does a few customers cars i always give him my suspension if it ever needs re-valveing
he can still make one off stuff if needed
Dennis is 100% genuine guy and his cars speak for himself as a company
i haven't heard a bad word said about him and i have been in the car game for the last 23yrs
Dennis scraped alot of his stuff he use to mod the standard rear trailing arms convert them with the 1.5 " rose joints strenthen/straped them beef them up i suppose they are club mas spec really but they do the job
the beam and arms i have on my car are original dome item gravel spec
T.A.L have moved to cannock, hawks green lane ,they are still trading
they are still doing the cossie/subaru's/evo's/6r4's ect
Bara is still there doing the FFD's / x trac stuff /VC stuff /diffs
I had my 3dr set up by TAL they did do a good job to be honest , no understeering baby what so ever , turns in very good for a road car
