Middlesex and Surrey meet @ abbey more golf club
To all Middlesex and Surrey Rs ford owners. The monthly group meet has moved from the old location to a new venue just off j11 of m25
Abbey Moor Golf club
Green Lane
Addlestone
Surrey
KT15 2XU
(food and drink served at the bar and with plenty of parking)
Date: every 4th Wednesday of the month
We need to get numbers up here to prove to the venue holders it's worth opening up for us on a Wednesday. The last 2 months have been pretty slow and whilst we appreciate the weather and time of year isn't perfect and a lot of Cars still tucked away the club won't run without a good show of faces.
Now the clocks have changed it stays lighter later and with show season just beginning there's people starting to use their cars again, so pop down have a drink and chat with fellow members and help us keep the Middlesex and Surrey meet going..
Thanks

Middlesex and Surrey RSOC meet tonight 27th may
This Wednesday (Tonight) the Middlesex & Surrey RSOC are having their monthly meet.
Anyone who fancies coming along would be most welcome, you don't necessarily need to be an RSOC member.
Here's a bit more info for anyone who's interested.

What on earth makes you think holding this meet in surrey will benefit what was the way bigger middx attendance as it flopped last time middx tried it there as i went and saw about 11 vehicles 2 of them were connects and some bloke walking round puffing on canabis, perhaps it should just be called surrey now and be as busy as when moss ran it and RIP middx

Actually mate i was wrong it was surrey who tried that venue and was dead just before merging with middx, even so where i am in middx no way on hell im driving deeper into surrey as middx was always main group, rugby club is middx home so without that venue its dead, group should have tried harder to keep it

Used to love the old Bath Rd site, years ago, but totally impractical... Plus it encouraged the twats to found it necessary to drive like idiots coming out the car park! Probably what lost us the the Staines Rugby club!?
Best Surrey meet was Dorking Rugby club, bit of a trek for me, but was a fun drive!! Staines Rugby club was the best meet for me as it was 5mins from home!

went to that meet on the A4 and it had it moments of pure fun & madness Stu and mark syers was a top lad running it, but for me the rugby club was the natural home, I'm in middx and its 20 odd miles from here to new venue but wish them well with it but way too far for me

Mark and Nicky put their heart and sole into running that and did a bloody good job too!! It was a long way for me to get to Dorking, but never minded it, my dad will still go, he's pretty much diehard and has been from the start...
Bit far for me, Norfolk is a bit too far, but whenever I'm back home, I'd make it....

The temptation to give it beans up the road was too much
Maybe holding it in a big car park such as a cinema or something might have been the way forward. Unless it's a speed hump issue and even then I wouldn't have gone to feltham cineworld too many dicks there already
