oi, i may not personally be loving the spoiler and lights, but no way would i tell him the car is crap because of it. like he says, its his car, and he doesnt want it looking like some1 elses, simple as. too many god damn ford purists who cry and moan soon as u mess with anything non standard!!!

I hate it as much as the next man when someone butchers up, say a Saff or something with a big bodykit, but this isn't an RS, it's a MK6 Escort that no one really seemd to care about

I'm currently looking towards swapping one of my other cars for a concours MK3 Cortina

Plus I'll get far more pleasure "owning" someone in this than in an Esc Cos or something, imagine the looks

each to there own when it comes to modifying cars.

surely you cant be putting that spoiler on there just to see the looks it gets, why not continue the theme with a wrc jobbie

nah, I just love it, personal taste

Could get the Maxi spoiler on there, but it was never intended to be a maxi rep, hence no maxi bumpers etc

The maxi spoiler, while being smaller, is basically a very similar design to most alloy spoilers, just it's not alloy, lol

Whether people like it or not, it ain't a cheap E-Tech/Halfords jobbie. It's the only one of its kind in the UK and only one on a Ford in Europe (AFAIK)

I respect the fact its your car and you do what you like with it, wasnt taking the piss all i was trying to say is its gone from something id imaging seeing on the front cover of performance ford to something id imagine seeing on barryboys

Like i say not a pisstake, just an honest opinion. Love the rest of it though

and at least now you have somewhere to do your ironing with that spoiler

I really couldn't care less tbh

It's also been in Fast Ford several times and Performance Ford a couple of times, so there must be something right with it

Well like the above posts,I too love the arch's,skirts and colour,but my GOD that rear wing is nasty,so much so that it takes from the car.I know each to their own etc,so enjoy it mate.Keep us updated on the rest of the project

Have to agree with most of the others here, looked very nice, until that rear wing and those rear lights showed up.

I did like the car until I saw that exhaust and horrendous spoiler that looks like it's been assembled out of Meccanno. I could like with the rear lights but standard smoked would be far better.

Sorry to say but I think the car has been done so well to be let down by the spoiler and exhaust.
