Sure. You can find the same story there
The steering angle limiter limits the steering angle I fitted a 1.1 steering and this needs the limiter that it can be used with the wider wheels. XR2 has it fittet standard, but can't be used with the 1.1 one. This is why I bought the Ford RS part |

Probably the last two pictures ever of a dizzy in this engine bay:
![]() ![]() cleaned, degreased and primed the mounting plate for the RS1600i twin coils and the XR3i injection rail ![]() ![]() ... and painted them in silver ![]() ![]() On these three pictures you can see the differences between the gear lever linkages. Red one = 83- 86, other one is 86 - ![]() ![]() ![]() I also emptied the cooling system, took off the dizzy, the manifold and the K-Jetronic wiring loom today Last edited by XR2; 24-07-2010 at 12:22 PM. |

Today I took the whole K-Jetronic out of the car, also the ignition and K-Jet wiring loom, all of the coolant hoses so that there's just the bare engine left:

Did some work on the engine bay the last days
![]() The fuses for the twin coils, the lambda sender, the trijekt and the relays for fuel pump and lambda heating. I'll make a better photo of these tomorrow! ![]() I also fitted the gear lever linkage and put one seat back into the car. Tomorrow I want to finish all of the wiring inside the car, and on saturday the wiring for the engine bay... Last edited by XR2; 24-07-2010 at 12:25 PM. |

The OT-Sender was quite a pain in the arse to fit... we had to take out the upper engine mount and drop the engine to put the two pulleys and the longer screw in
![]() ![]() Fitted all of the blue silicone hoses today. You also can see that the trijekt engine loom is now in position:
