Ford turbo'ed that engine on some models, or turbo technics did so there was kits for it back in the day, might be lucky and find a breaker with the kit on, pretty sure there were twin turbo versions too, probably pretty rare now.

Turbo technics and eichberg made some kits for the cologne engine. But those were bigger engines running lower compression 9.0/8.9.

I thought there was a guy on this forum which had a green turbo granada 2.8 with carburettor. Should be some where between al the project.

Maybe it is worth giving him a PM.

I know a guy in holland which has/had a turbo kit for sale don't know if he still got it. he is hardly online on the forums these days.

Turbo technics never did the 3.0 Essex. I think broadspeed did though. Turbo technics did the 2.0 twin cam,2.8 cologne single turbo and 2.9 cologne twin turbo. I think they did the cvh in the xr3i as well.
