Just an old Sierra.
Hi, I'm new on here so go easy on me.
Last week I found an old Sierra in need of a home. It was in a bit of a state but I liked it so gave it a home.
It's a 1990 1.8LX, I think it may have been used as a kennel, because the interior had more Jack Russell Fur than most Jack Russells have.
I used it for a few days and a trip to RaceRetro to check it drove ok and it is spot on. So today the big clean up started.
The interior really was grim, but several bails of fur have been removed, more work required but I need to remove the entire interior and I didnt have time for that today.
The paint was awful, mat doom blue.
I clayed it, cut it, polished and waxed it today and it looks like a different car (and different colour, much lighter blue now)
I have some more plans for it plus lots of repairs that need carrying out. I will update as and when, also I will have a lot of possibly stupid questions!
Before photos from this morning...
And after todays clean up...
I fitted a bike rack as its a comfy car for cruising around in, so will have a trip up to the Peak District at the weekend.
