Eh you've confused me???? off course, The wrong badges let it down. He already knows I think its a brilliant car, and I'm sure he'd agree about the badges. Mine came with the post 2000 post badges and I ripped them off for the correct ones. Its the finishing touches that stand out.

plan is to be welded on the 22nd then its being taken for its re m.o.t on the 23rd, obviously it should fly through as all of the fails have been rectified, then my mate at the garage is going to be good enough to drop the car off at karls house and ill be going there on sunday to pick it up.

right then everyone iv finally got around to updating this thread.

first of all the car is now fully road legal as it obtained a fresh m.o.t on tuesday this week not one single advisory so very happy with that.

i have over the weeks purchased a k&n open cone filter and hel turbo oil feed as mine is suffering from the usual blocked/kinked feed.

also i have purchased my tickets for the rsoc national day at donington park this month and my car will be on one of the stands there (thanks to john) (turbosimpsons)

my good mate karl visited last week in his amazing 3dr cosworth so we had to take some pics in my street, this was just after my paintwork had been corrected by r&k detailing, many hours later and the results are very impressive.

Oh shit mate, that's rotten luck!!

I hope your recovery isn't too long.

I know what you say about bills being paid etc, but I hope that after all the work you've put into the Fezz, you don't have to sell her!?

just thought i would update on my condition

went to the hospital on tuesday ended up having to get an mri scan to find the break, i am now going for an operation tomorrow morning and will be kept in hospital over the weekend.
i have been signed off work for 12 weeks going be in plaster for 7 then into a boot again, he did say it may not take the whole 12 weeks and could be 10 at best.

im going down every avenue to find a way of helping with bills etc etc, selling the fiesta is the very last option on the list.

sorry for the lack of updates but as you know theres not been much at all going on with the car due to my ankle.
although i did manage to get a proper top boost hose (had a cossie airbox hose on there) and fitted my k&n open cone filter and breather filter. were going to try and tidy the engine bay up a bit over winter as well

just thought i would let you know that all being well tomorrow morning this 2nd plaster comes off for good and then the work begins to get my ankle back up to strength with physio etc etc.

anyway something that you guys will be much more interested in is that iv been planning on what to do power wise with the car and iv decided on the below

airtec stage 2 radiator
airtec stage 1 fmic (dont want stage 2 as i wanna keep the bumper uncut)
ofam (boostmonkeys ecu)
newman cam/vernier etc
head ported by neil roper
uprated fuel pump
uprated clutch
already have beige 701 injectors

mapping will be carried out by mike@mikeanics in congleton

as you can see its not going to break any records power wise but should be a cracking little fast road car and if i ever do want to go for bigger power then a cossie t3 conversion would work well with the above

they are becoming quite rare and prices are going up all the time, so my advice would be to get one asap before they are silly money.

i hope to find out just how good they are when i finally get to use it next year

That doesn't sound bad at all to be fair. Have you seen my video I put up about 2 weeks ago? You'd like the sound of them while giving them a bit of a heavy foot.

By the way engine bay would look spot on with the ignition wire(why its called wire for is beyond me) separator. I do think you are missing a bracket though.

Just to add you can fit the stage 2 FMIC without cutting the front bumper.

I sure its a black bracket that sits under the plastic separator 2 small torx bolts thread through it connecting to the crossover pipe and the other pipe. If the threads butchered you may get any with tapping them a new thread.

I'll pop a link up. just gotta find it first.

Yes saw you commented

And yes get a pic. I dont have any decide pics on my Photobucket to show you.
I found a pic on FB, It looks like theres 2 brackets. I remember small black torx head bolts and the pic I just looked at is a stainless steel bracket that has 3 round head allen key bolts which these go into those pipes I mentioned above.

So this just happened. Iv just been able to move the car for the 1st time since breaking my ankle in August. I had the plaster off last friday so iv only just begun the road back to getting back upto strength so i really shouldnt of done this but hey ho haha

I know it wasnt far at all but to me it seems like a huge step forward had it running for 20 mins and pumped all the tyres up iv gotta say its one real sweet cvh engine.

need to get my rear ford badge and scorpion 4" rear box fitted asap.

So as im meant to be taking it easy, my good mate karl offered to give my car a clean for me and get it covered up in the garage ready for winter. Also finally fitted a ford badge on the rear which it was defo missing looks wise.

nothing exiting about these but it was good to be able at least help to some extent.
