mallard green escort cosworth restoration update 1/6/16
here is my mallard green escort cossie project im hoping to keep you up to date as i go things are a touch slow at the minute due to work and christmas holidays:rally:
the day i picked it up
dropped straight of into the body shop
removing the weld on strut brace
another little scuff
rear wiper had been blocked up for the wrc spoiler it once had
sourced a propshaft from gary at cosworth breakers and freshened them up
front prop sorted
starter motor stripped cleaned and painted
its new brakes
83lb siemens
hopefully more info soon
also ordered a new engine bay loom from james @ AUTODYNAMIX
got a pro alloy rs500 intercooler
rs500 grilles
18" azev A
morettes
bit of a update today been up to the bodyshop and cut the other strut brace mount off and stripped the alternator just waiting for the bearings and brushes and can put that back together
mongoose exhaust
and a single air injector

had time to do a bit more today first new loom has aeeived
first job was to sort the wings for std repeaters
all stage 1 motorsport brake lines fuel lines fitted
and a bit of bling or monster

Lovely that, really nice job.
The Morettes and Azevs don't do much for me but Mallard is such a lovely colour, definitely the best of the bunch.
Does look funny on those Mondeo wheels though On a normal Escort they would probably look quite big but they look totally lost on a Cosworth!
