Frustratingly the fuel pump crapped itself when mapping so luckily I spotted it and called a halt to mapping.

like Mark says the fuelpump has died during the mapping.. It was new and a flow test we've did after it was fitted a few months ago was correct comparing to the flow chart.
At Mark we've checked again after he's spotted the fuel pressure drop at boost and it was already 50% less flow on idle.
We've made it home cruising the car and need the mapping session redone this summer to have it fully mapped.
Unfortunately I left my other fuelpump (same one) at home but that's life

some pics of the inside of the after-pump-filter. All clean and shiny metal shavings.

Lucky the filter did its stuff. Do you need to strip the engine now to check nothing got through?

Ahh man that's a shame!

Could you of not hung around for a few days and fitted another pump here in the uk?
Then had the mapping finished off?

Cheers Paul

This wasn't possible unfortunately because I had to work the days after. If that wasn't the case it would be a good idea.
In the meantime another pump was fitted and hopefully the car will be finished soon with mapping.

if the weather stays dry we'll be out for another mapping session upcoming Wednesday and try to finish mapping by Mark
We've already had another try early June but bad weather forecast made us deciding not to go to the UK that day.

car has been mapped yesterday and everything went good this time..
Mark did a top job on mapping the car it runs 2.4bar at high boost & 1.6bar at low boost.
Not been on the dyno it should have 600+ on the 102 RON and these EFR turbo's combined with Marks manifold & mapping is awesome..
It's wayyy better in power & response compared to the GT30 & Pectel ECU which was fitted before.

Will put up some videos when I have time to make them soon..
We can't wait now to have the 4x4 mapped by Mark with almost the same setup, only some engine parts are different / better spec since they're Mark's choice for the engine build.

Sounds awesome!

hi mate no real updates.. car is done and drives perfectly and strong without any problems!
Had some cool gopro videos made with a friend couple of weeks ago but unfortunately I still don't have the video material to upload since it wasn't my camera so have to wait.
The car is off the road now for the winter and we go ahead finishing the build of the 4x4 with almost the same setup which can be found here;

I can't see a lot but it sounds brilliant and seems to pull through the gears quickly.

Yes it's a bit dark video sorry for that but was not my camera.. Will make some better vids this Spring when the car is on the road again.
But it sure goes quickly trough the gears and pulls very fast, way better than before compared to the old GT series turbo and Pectel management which was fitted.
And ofcourse Mark did a top job mapping it

driven the 2wd a lot last year in 2017 but not made much movies.. this is one I could find doing a pass on low boost 1.6bar

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Txax...ature=youtu.be

In a couple of weeks I'm going to change the clutch as I fucked it up during a launch in of of the last drives last year, think the clutch plated is melted a little bit to the flywheel so it won't release..
Beside that the car is still in technical / engine top condition and will go for MOT in March-April and then out again this year
