The bikes haven't got enough realism for me to want to buy/make one,

The trucks are just awesome and very complex with gear boxes on them etc

I know, that 1 has been in the cupboard since my birthday in feb when the mother in law gave me it,she must have been struggling for ideas as I'm not into bikes at all.
Really wanting to start another build so it's between the hiab, the big bulldozer and the tracked crane I have.
Really like the look of that hiab truck you bought, that looks smart.

Took me over a year to get 1,for some reason most are missing bits and incomplete or overpriced.
Around Ł150 is where they seem to sell.
I wanted a previously built 1 that had been disassembled but still had its box and instructions.
Quite hard to get.
Just getting started and I'm thinking this must have been an early model as some pieces are studded and some are stud less, like a mix of old and new.
I'd sell its non motorised little brother for Ł25 ha ha

It's all the little sub assembly's that take ages to do and it's annoying when you're building it and have no idea what it's going to do once built!

The gearbox on the green recovery truck was very complex in how it worked as it runs the winch, pneumatics, the stabilisers and the boom through 4 switches and a clutch cog.
It must take somebody with a huge imagination to think out a way for it yo work and package it all into a small assembly.

Sounds simular to the Merc box bud, the gear box in that is just epic! It does everything on the truck, Neumatics, Stabilisers, Tipper, Bucket etc it's ace!

Had some more meditation on mine tonight, another few hours put in to it but again you can't tell that in pics lol

and the lambo, to be honest, it's using the same box and 4wd system of other models but the body is different

lego do at least 4 different cars like that, over the years they've done a lot more

but it's still cool as fuck

It did me good when i was recovering from my lunacy and wasnt allowed to drive so i figured it would occupy your mind too

I should patent it as a new form of therapy and push for NHS funding. Lego on the NHS would be awesome!!!
