Not much to update recently since been aiming to get the car running sweet. Found a leak coming from the Turbo Cooler so got on the Phone to Auto Specialists and got an Airtec one ordered asap and spent Friday getting it all fitted...

So with the Turbo Cooler leaking needed to strip down the front end to get it fitted.

Wasn't the easiest job in the world without dropping the Radiator and Intercooler out but managed to get it fitted... Just

Then with the front end off I decided to attempt to get the standard Headlights fitted again but to with no success so I decided to change things up a little with the front end...

So some Genuine Ambers we fitted (Thank god) and decided to aid the cooling to the Cossie with a Cold Air Feed.

Photo from a Local Car Meet a few weeks ago. Was a crazy gathering but the Car got some attention

With plenty of Photos of the Cossie so I'll be keeping this copy I think

Went to a Charity Meet at the Ace Cafe in Jan and it was covered in Fast Ford this month

It really is mate. I tried dropping the Intercooler and Radiator down as well mate to fit the lights but still no room. Need some brackets to move the Cooler back about an inch or so. Either that or I get a new cooler (Which I think I might do to match the Airtec one I got for the Turbo

Managed to give the car a once over whilst the sun was out on Wednesday. Not too bad for an hours work...

Not a bad finish considering all I used was ADS Snow Foam and then ADS Wash and Seal...

Looks really nice!! Need to get mine out and give it a good clean...!

Does the intercooler edges hit the spotlight bulb access covers? Is your turbo cooler fitted where the standard intercooler fits?
If you wanted some extra cool air intakes and one of the fogs lights is knackered, could replace them with ducts?

Right then...

Intercooler doesn't get in the way of the lights mate. Can not fit Standard Lights but these fit and clear the Intercooler enough. Will be replacing the Cooling system soon though

Turbo Cooler is fitted on top of the Intercooler when the previous one was fitted. Not a prefect fit due to the clash between 2 different makes but will be fine once new Intercooler is fitted.

I thought about taking out the Foglights to aid cooling but I actually like the look with the Foglights in place. That and the fact I can't get the one out atm due to the bolt being rusted in place

Not much to update since I've actually just concentrated on enjoying the car. Ordered a new Bosch .44 Fuel Pump and a New Loom from MSD that I will need to fit this week hopefully then I can start getting it set up correctly. Looking at getting a Stage 2 Chip from MSD this week as well then get it all adjusted as required. Although wondering if this will be better than the current NMS Live map from years ago... Not exactly sure when it was done though so thinking a fresh tune might be the way to go

So the Cossie shit out all its coolant on the way home from work last week. The Rad decided it no longer wanted to be a radiator anymore so 4 miles from home I was forced to pull over and see what the issue was. Hairline Crack in the Rad became more than I hairline. Was able to get hold of 6 litres of water from a nearby shop and get the old girl home.

Fast forward an hour later, I had just got off the phone to Auto Specialists and had ordered a new 50mm Airtec Rad and a 60mm Airtec Intercooler both in Satin Black to go alongside the Airtec Turbo Cooler I have fitted.

I was always looking to replace the old cooling system but was hoping that it would be something I done over winter. One benefit from all this though was the fact that due to the smaller size Rad/Cooler it has free'd up a bit of space at the front of the car and looks like I might be able to get the standard headlights on back on

All this will have to wait a week or so though since I had a procedure on Saturday that has me out of action for 7-10 days But the Mrs is working a night shift tonight so might give it a go then.... shhhhhh don't tell anyone
