Default Standard Ford Fiesta RS Turbo

Seen this car tucked in the back of a dealership showroom last week while i was looking at another car through the window! Place was closed so i was on the phone to the guy first thing in the morning asking some questions as it didnt have a for sale sign or price on the window. Turns out he had bought it a couple of months back and never touched it so i went through for a look last week. Car is completely standard and never been tampered with at all. 68k miles on the clock with full service history and original bill of sale from 1991. Has a small bag with the recaro lumbar support pad and instructions lol. Original exhaust and tape player. Upon inspection it has minor small age related marks, scratches which can be expected with wearing the original paint. It has had a repair to the filler cap area but it has been completed to a high standard. The car has done 7k miles since the year 2000. The last thing to check was the engine which is the quietest cvh ive ever heard. No tapping or weird noises so i was happy with everything and just had to come to an agreement on a price which was settled very quickly

Plans for the car is to clean up the engine bay and keep everything totally standard. I will be looking for original parts to replace any worn items and get it to as high a standard as possible without getting to anal to drive the car. I just want a really clean orginal car to take to shows or meets. Enjoy the quick pics i took at the garage.

yeah defo mate but I'm kinda stuck with the decision of removing original parts and replacing them with new parts just to make the engine bay look cleaner? zinc coated strut tops, new header tank, new sticker set, new ford dipstick, new charge carrier washers blah blah will i ruin its originality? I am going to bag and tag all the original bits as they come off to go with the car when it eventually gets sold! Im looking for a mint gear knob and steering wheel but I'm struggling. Ive got quite a lot i want to do so il be busy over winter.

Got all my parts fitted to the engine bay which imo has transformed it. Also fitted new green sticker on bootlid, green stripe on rear bumper, new petrol cap and bezel and just concentrated on getting the engine bay tidied up. Got the battery tray painted as that really let the bay down. Ive stuck the car on ebay and have a guy coming wednesday to view. Been a good little winter project but i want to concentrate on my bmw e30 cosworth.
