Thank you.. Well the puma sold today. I was sad to see it go cause it was a bloody fun car.
From 12 till 6.30 ive done a fair bit of cleaning to the ST. Ive also sorted out the play in the gear stick.
I will update with pics later.

So to the sloppy gear stick. I found the play was in the gear linkage.I took it off and found it to be worn.
So i put a piece of plastic over the worn part and its worked a treat.

My matey sold it to me cheap cause the car looked a bit tatty.
I remember ages ago my mrs wanted a grey one and they were 5k then.

I bought a set of standard mk1.5 headlights and removed the lenses and fitted them to the xenons headlights.
There slighty different if you look at the xenons they have lines in the lenses where the standard lenses dont. You also have to cut a small section of the lense off.

I even but my momo arrows on the front whilst i start to clean the standard wheels and paint them. I think they suit the car in a strange way.

Looks much better Glenny. I'm sure my st170 had headlamp washers that sat flush and popped out of the bumper.

surprised when you had the lenses apart you did not paint the inserts black as that does look well, also I did see somebody selling your missing washer cap on ebay, as soon as I get those those washer covers in stock they sell like hot cakes and Im down to 2 moondust 170s now
