Default My MK1 Focus RS in Frozen White :)
Some of you might remember this old girl from this club from before when she was with her previous owners. Well i have been looking after the old girl and treated her to a complete front end overhaul.

First thing was to strip right down and prep the engine bay.

Then it was to bar coat

Then the layer of grey primer

Next was the satin black to give the stealth look

Also totally overhauled the front Brembo brakes

Then it was rebuild time which seemed to take forever

Then the finished article, well almost finished



The manifold,turbo and sports cat have been ceramic coated to help with temps. Along with all new poly bushes and new clutch. Just the rear end to be done now.

Have to admit when i was scrolling down i was thinking why isn't he painting under the bonnet white.. but that works really well; top job

Cheers for the comments guys

I took a gamble on the satin black under bonnet but I love it.

Now to do the rear end of the car over the winter and get the wheels reconditioned.

Great job. Looks awesome in white. Good choice on the black, will save hours of cleaning.

looks really nice, out of curiosity what made you bar coat it, we only use that at work when the shit hits the fan to re prime if we have had a bad paint reaction, kind of as a last resort really
