Default got some work done on the truck today

Bumper/wing bracket or support

Wings off ready for inner wing work some rustchopping then strengthening and some shiney new brackets not cheap

Pulled outa sill off and the centre and inner and floor needs attention suddenly a money pit haha

Inner sill and some floor repair gonna chop out the seat mount and weld new plate in plus found 2 holes at the front under the sound deadening.. when will it ever end!!!

Gonna take a while to get through all that haha

Engines out!!! Progress

Not bad 25 years old and the only bit of rust is where the battery tray was actually shocked cleaned up very well

My 5.0 came from a 1988 Thunderbird and only made 150bhp

Yeah there are poo figures but there very restricted engines.. got to change full exhaust system and ilet manifolds and put the aluminium heads on with decent port and polish sould get you near 300hp im looking into the msd ignition pack and some bigger injectors and uprated fuel rails

Probably had smog stuff, I've binned nearly everything and will only be using the block

Got a pair of Edelbrock performer RPM heads to try and get it breathing better
