Hi everyone, I'm fairly new here. I have a project on the go in the shape of a 4x4 sapphire cosworth. I bought a rough welded up one last year for not much money and have used and abused it.

I have bought a different 4x4 shell and i'm planning on doing that up and then transferring the running gear over and making it a minter.

I have started doing the new shell, bought myself a jig etc etc and i'm nearly at the stage of painting the underneath. Question is, what colour?! The shells original colour is white, but I went to RS combe last weekend and fell in love with a Red Sapphire reg A7 MNE, anyone on here?

What do you guys think?

Defo mate paint it the colour you want I just start my Orion project and decided to go magenta on mine bud and love it

I am leaning to the red, means a lot more work, painting the inside etc but I think it should be worth it.

I saw frasers thread, lovely build. I just want a 350-360bhp safe power car which is fairly standard.

The engine in my rusty shell which is still on the road is absolutely spot on, so I think im just going to have to strip and paint/powder coat everything as I go, looking forward to doing that bit!

Ok, got a question for you all. I need to repair the brackets that attach to the inner wings on the front which support the front bumper.

Where the round hole is, needs repairing which is straight forward enough, there is another cut-out next to this hole, but im not sure what it is for?

Any ideas?
