Bought a Series 2 RS Turbo for a bit of a Toy.

Was previously owned by someone on here.

This is how I bought it

Looks a cracker mate , what's the plans ?

Plans are -

Correct 88 Spec interior,

Standard height suspension,

Remove air filter and fit a standard air box,

Remove dump valve.

Source standard Ford radio.

New hydraulic lifters to quieten engine down from the little tap it has now.

Get speedo & rev counter working,

Full re-spray

They are in very good condition, Dropped them off at the Garage where my car is ready for fitting this week.

Its far from mint but it has got lots of potential,

At some point it has had a full engine rebuild (Pics supplied by a member on here)

It has also had a re-spray but they left all the Glass & lights in when it was done and now its starting to have a bit of laquer flaking in a few places.

Main points are it is solid, had it up on the ramps and no rot underneath so I will be getting it undersealed to try & prolong any rot.

It has an Alloy Pace intercooler, Fully polly bushed all round, Braided brake hoses, Full 4 inch exhaust system & Loads of service history.

I am willing to spend the time and money on it as I get a different car to use every day so the RS can just sit in the Garage until its fully done.

Suspension is now fitted & it sits miles better now



Whilst it was up in the air I had a good check underneath it,







It looks very solid. I think I will wire brush it and then underseal it to try and keep it that way for a little longer.
