Default 1998 Fiesta project (first car)

Hi all. Pretty new around here.

Starting my first car as a project its a 1998 fiesta 1.25 in fair condition. Planning to do a full zetec s body conversion and loads of other bits like sports springs.

Im a 17 year old apprentice mechanic so im not a genius with cars yet so any advice is appreaciated as dont know anyone with a passion for Fords.

Welcome to the fold....

My best advice at this point is definitely look around there is plenty of threads here to give you ideas and solutions, anything your not sure about just ask the question we're bound to have an idea between the thousands that frequent here.

Secondly i'd definitely say get yourself to Ford Fair this year and speak to the guys on the stand. It's amazing what you can learn in a half hour chat.

Good cars these. It's a shame they rust like fool. If I was you I would remove the carpet and check the floor pans for rust.
