Default rwd zetec HELP NEED

bit of a strange one. i,ve rebuilt a kit cat with a 2.0 silver zetec. had it running 18 months ago on a 1.8 ecu. been back in the garage and wont start new starter, new 2,0 ecu DESK. cylinder 1,4 keep filling with fuel on prime 1/4 inch deep. 2,3 get a little fuel in not as much. engine cranks and good spark. after cranking over with spark plugs out fuel starts to fill the cylinders. any advise would be much appreciated even wrong advise as i,ve run out of ideas.

Sounds silly but we had the same problem on my dad's 2.5 tdi transit. Engine was in perfect working order, just wouldn't fire. Changed a heap of bits, and then my dad got a new battery even after checking with two batteries that were in working order. Was the last thing to do but it turned over 1 st time and has been working for months now haha. Just a suggestion!

check your tappets are not stuck open on the inlet valves, I have had this in the past. This could save you having to take the head off.
