Default fiesta mk3 project

hi, i would like to ask if its worthid to put ford mondeo 1994 1.8 turbo engine on fiesta mk3? i would like to gain power and durability would you suggest this convertion pls? is there any problems that i may find?

It won't set the world on fire but it'll be nippy. I once had an 1800 diesel non turbo mk3 fiesta and it was quicker then a 1.3 petrol. You'll need the engine loom and ecu etc.

so you recommend to put 1.8 diesel of fiesta instead? its less powerfull than the mondeo

I was using my non turbo as an example of performance difference. Obviously put the mondeo lump in.

i am sure the mondeo td won't fit straight in. you need the fiesta inlet and some other bits if i remember correctly

does the mountings fit on the fiesta? would you recommend this conversion?

i haven't done it myself, but i did assist with a friends conversion but it was years ago. it was in a van, with rs kit and interior. went very well too.
If i get chance on saturday i will pop and ask him what needed to be changed.
(almost sure the mounts from a fiesta d fitted the mondeo block
