Default Rear wheel drive cossie mk3 fiesta

Hi guys,

I'm new to this but just wondered what people thought of my Sierra cossie powered mk3 rear drive fiesta? It's looking a little tired but is at the body shop as we speak getting some cosmetic surgery, all its mechanical side has been recently updated and in great nick, running 293 bhp.

Hi focusmitch, it's basically done mechanically, but it should be coming out of the body shop next week in frozen white with black vents, spoiler and door mirrors. Il put some pics up when I get it back...

And you guys are both bang on, it used to be a thundersaloon in a previous life with a bda engine in, then it was a Tarmac rally car. So far I have just been doing track days but was thinking of hill climbing...

Hi Costina, it handles brilliant, got custom built bilstein all round, 4 link atlas and panhard rod, zf plated lsd. The wheel base is actually the same as a mk2 escort, the whole rear of the car is fabricated, making it 6ft 2" wide. it's a bit lively but great fun! markk sorry mate I'm not sure if it is ex john hardman

I got some 3 piece comptomotive split rims from the 80's, black centre polished deep dish rims. With the wide set they are 12.5 and run 330mm wide tyres, I got a set of hill climb tyres for those and they do fill the arches, but most of the time il be running the other outers I have which are 11's I think running 255 tyres. They don't fill the arches but I can't get road tyres in the larger width unless I spend £500 a corner for Pirelli P1's!!

Cossie vents have been mounted the wrong way round haven't they? Or is that to aid airflow?

Thats mega, really nice and the the transformation between the red and white really makes the car. Glad its all been tidied up and looks epic. Hopefully see you on a track day at some point.

What power is it running?

Hi little hoss, yes they are the wrong way round intentionally to get air into the engine bay, the bonnet is lifted at the back so don't need vents! Oibren85 it's running 293bhp but I'm doing a little tweek of a remap soon but won't go over more than 310
