Another added security device. nothing special, and something i wont use all the time but when the cars stood for a few days its worth using. had to widen it a bit to get over the clutch arm making the original lock not usable, so ive bought another.

also a few pics before and during a photo shoot. pics are from my phone. The proper pictures are really good cant wait to get them and see it in a mag, surprising what a proper camera and setup can do.

well ive been ill for a few days but today i was fed up of staying in so i decided to go out and paint the 10mm mill gap on the discs where the pads don't catch. well this happened. arches out, cleaned, painted suspension, wishbones etc. then wax oiled as much as i could.

so a hour job turned into a full days work lol.

Cheers.
I hope so. Its engine paint so should be ok. I dont track the car so not going to get silly hot. I only did the 10mm space near the bell. The suspension and other bits are painted in the same paint.

Because im a short arse i thought id try out my new hop-up out and give the car a going over. the buffer has a very soft pad on, no abrasive compounds used. Its hard to get a good photo of the shine with my camera (galaxy s4). Im holding off having the front end sprayed as ive got a few ideas im deciding on.

Im after a good wet look gloss/top coat so feel free to comment.

19/6/2015 - Symposer Delete / clean & paint

Im not sure if its just because i havent drove the car for a while but now ive got shut of the syposer im sure it boosts for longer. Maybe just me. The noise is no different.
Just need to wait for my header tank to come now, then onto changing the hoses.

Its still looking good. The meguires polish you use, is that just the same stuff that you can put on with a cloth instead of the buffer.

Looking good mate,

I want a header tank like that not yet though many other bits I want before haha. I'm not really a fan of the spec r jobby it doesn't look very OEM and the AS one doesn't have glass the pro alloy looks far superior.

Nice personal touches all around. That grille must have been a right fcuker for whoever did the carbon job . The thing about the mk2.5 I like is overall it's well proportioned and looks like it will keep you wherever you position her.

New Exhaust tips ordered,
Thought id fit some bonnet struts to make it easier at shows and less worry while cleaning/service it with the wind, it never felt stable with just the prop.

Fitting was straight forward enough. just needed a few test fits of the plastics while trimming them.

Nice touch mate, only thing that would bug me after all the attention to detail is the wonky p/s reservoir cap, can you get a cover for it or something?
