Yep. No chrome lol. I'm buying all black caps when I can justify the price of them. May leave it till ford fair. I know they will fit them.

Does seem everyone has jumped on wrapping the intake pipe recently, not sure why but thats the car scene

The caps do look the business and really do finish off an engine bay especially one as well detailed as yours

I bought mine at ford fair last year but helped that I bought 2 sets as a mate wanted a set as well so got them ridiculously cheap

Cheers pal. Yeah alot have been wrapping the intake. I'm not saying I started it on the st but people has said my car gave them the idea when it was in fast ford last year. I've seen it on various cars over the years so nothing new.

Your engine bay looks well pal. Like the idea of catch tank but seem expensive for what they are.

ive not managed to do my cables yet due to weather but the rs cover lasted a whole 30 seconds lol. so come up with a plan. a simple sticker over the hole. may change it in the future as i dont think i need pumaspeed logos everwhere. going to trim 10mm of the bottom of the cover to get rid of the damaged caused by the original clip.

rs cover

Yeah it certainly makes a difference mate, will make it last that little bit longer too! I've got a mk5 fiesta 1.3. Just as a run about until my cortina is done and for a year no claims etc. I've not got a thread on here for the fiesta but will have one in couple weeks when i start work on the car. I do have a thread for my mk2 cortina resto though! Haven't updated in a while, need to get round to it haha.

The new door leathers come today. Was hoping I could trim and fit without taking the panel off. Well I couldn't lol. And it's not such a simple job as I have all my cross overs in my door pockets. I manage to struggle getting the panel off and get the old panel out. Prob would have been easier just disconnecting everything. But as I had sprayed my carbon bonnet vents earlier on I didn't fancy another job.

I've been keeping this quiet for a while as I share all my mods. This is a marmite mod like some of my others. But this blends into my oem look I'm always trying to keep. Is not totally finished as the gauge hasn't come yet but I've made sure there's plenty of room to accommodate it. So while driving I can just take the panel of then while parked up it keeps the dash looking nice and clean.

The boost gauge panel might get tarted up a bit but I'll wait till I get it.
