Project Shirley mk3 fiesta zetec turbo ROAD LEGAL 25-03-15
Well after selling my mk2 fiesta for parts in summer and buying an evo 8 I've decided to build myself a little drag car! Over winter
Here's the old mk2 425 hp with 400ft lb
Here's the evo it paid for
And here's the new toy
Plans are zetec turbo ib5 gearbox done on a small budget
Exterior lowered on 15" Steelies
More updates to follow

I remember you texting me just a few months ago saying you wouldn't go back to a Ford now you had an Evo...glad to see that lasted!
Seriously, will be good to see you build a £2000 12 second car. Clarke and me have talked about doing something similar for AGES!

This should be good! Budget build sleeper with big power is where its at for sure.
The Mk2 made its name from being kinda cobbled together and getting epic results. IMO it was never the same when you went high spec on it.

Didn't the mk2 start with the same honest intentions as this? A cheap drag car? How long before you start chasing those numbers again?
Looks a good base mate, solid rear suspension turrets as well! That's a rarity on its own.
