My rs500 touring car mini resto
I thought after seeing Marks resto on here of his GGR race car i thought it was rude not to do the same
The full resto is on my rs500 owners website so ill just copy and paste on here
Well i got the car in the workshop today and had a real good look round
The front right side has suffered a little nock and the bumper frame was twisted that made the bumper fit poor and also the wing was pushed over and the grille didnt fit ,,so ,, of came the bumper
i removed the frame and spent an hour getting it back into the correct shape and then bonded the bumper skin back onto the now straight frame
I pulled the wing back out and now the grill fits
bumpers go to the paintshop tomorrow

With this being an Eggenberger car how similar is it to your Caltex car? Did you base the Caltex on a specific car? Not meaning paint scheme but more is it like an AR, DJR, Eggenberger, GG or other?

Eggenberger cars are the best spec touring cars of there time and cost twice the price of a rouse car so no chance my Caltex is anywhere near the spec
DJR / GGR cars were mainly rouse parts anyway , so you only realy have rouse spec or eggenberger
Most were rouse spec due to the high price of Eggenberger
