Fuller or Fulla is simply down to Fulla Shit reputation for lies, you can tell when he is lying as his lips move. He does have a very quick Cossie and he is pretty good with them I believe although there was a thread recently about engines going pop but then every tuner has one of those threads somewhere.

I do not think he would have a bad shell at all. If you think it may be his old shell and want to know more then I can put you in touch with him as my mate knows him although perhaps prefers not to as he has a different attitude depending on what day you speak to him....apparently.

Going buy the reg it's not the same car. The one I'm thinking of first arrived with Stuart about 10 years or so ago as a fully working RS rep 4x4 on a Q reg

Im very indecisive still tbh.

Had a few hours yesterday so decided to make a start on the dash, quite pleased with the way its gone tbh

theres a fair few pics lol sorry about that ha.

Ok, so starting off from where i left it a few weeks back, i got all the heater vents cut out ready to accept the stack guages i plan to use..

I did all 4 then i got them bonded into place as its basically going to be a one piece dash..

With that done, i got the centre cut out, this is where a fuse box and switches will live.

I needed a way to close this section off, originally it had a carbon panel in the old dash but wasnt the best piece of carbon, had 2 guage holes etc in so wasnt good enough to re use, well, not on show anyway lol, it got used here...

I also filled in this detail in the dash wih the same silicone so as once complete, itll all be at the same level (if that makes sense) its the little things

Then it was time to get the fibreglass out

Weighed down the corners until slightly gone off as it was lifting slightly..

I did 2 layers of the fibreglass tissue, first time iv used the tissue, usually use the matting stuff, love the tissue.

I let that cure and gave it a flash of matt black, just to see areas that need filler etc..

Then got the filler out, luckily, the air bubbles you see in the pics, im not sure they are air bubbles lol, think its from where the carbon sheet wasnt true, guages were bolted to it etc and made it twist slightly, the fibreglass has gone on pretty rigid and hidden them all, perfectly flat now, result!! Gave it all a fill, just to hide little imperfections really..

I then started on the vents..i cut out 8 vent sized bits of fg tissue and resin'd then up.

Waited for them to just start to go hard and peeled them off, and got them in place, just so they could get a tack to the dash..

I then overlayed the other 4 pieces and painted on the resin..

Little more done on the dash, its more or less ready for flocking now, just a bit of silicone and should be good enough for flocking.

Gave the main panel a quick rub down and resined in sone more vent shaped fibreglass tissue cut outs..

Waited for that to harden, powerfiled the edges of the hardened fibrreglass to the shape i wanted and added some filler..

Gave it all a decent sand and cut the holes for the guages..

Just need to sort a standard set of clocks so i can make that up for the stack dash and send it off for flocking, nikki will prep any of the bits she thinks the flock wont cover.

Pretty happy with it

Great work on the dash mitch it'll look great when flocked.
What colour is it going to be?
I've heard black shows up dust/dirt easy so my mates gone for grey which looks really nice

If you go to page 55. On my focus to focos skyline gearbox
You can see my dash I was going black even when I tuck the dash to be flocked and he put me off having it done black and I'm still very happy that I went gray in the end
