3 door sierra with a bmw heart! more parts arrived 20/09
i bought this b reg base model 3 door off a chap down in the bottom of England after the guy who won it on ebay didn't want it
its currently fitted with a 24 boa (which is sold)
it has a cosworth kit fitted and alot of other wee bits (which most will be getting replaced!)
the shell's solid only had 2 bits of welding in its time (1 little piece on the sill and 1 on the passenger seat mount)
my plan is to build a road legal track car
plan is to fit the bmw m50 2.5 engine but i have the bits to take it a 3.0L
with a turbo on the side of it
power aim is around 450-500bhp
only got a little bit of work done so far but heres some pictures
when i 1st got it
and after a quick wash!
alot better
so i started taking the engine out
i have also striped the interior of the car (and binned them awful white leather seats )
and started stripping the bmw engine for rebuilding and skimming
thats all ive got just now hopefully have more updates soon!

striped the interior out and removed the dodgy hawk immobilizer
striped down the bmw engine to get the block and head skimmed
couple of photos
also all the parts have turned up for the rebuild
so this weeks job is strip the crank rods and pistons out of the 3.0L engine to put into this one
have also just brought a 16cm hx40 for it
thats it for now

got some more stuff done!
got the head off the block all packaged up to send away for skimming
so now just to strip the internals out of the 3.0L cant wait to start putting an engine back together!
anyway then removed the head lights and bumper and grill and scuttle panel
shell is really solid not found any rust just some staining from some drilling swarf sat on the chassie legs
so whilst im waiting for the head and block to come back from being skimmend and cleaned
im planning to remove the front suspension engine and gearbox and front windscreen
turbo and roll cage should be here this week aswell!

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Nice project. A mate of mine has got a turbo'd e36 325 with a mixture of different engine parts from an e46 330. It's an absolute animal!

well i had a big sort out in the garage new shelving and benches etc hato buy a new welder etc
so whilst i was spending money was rude not to spend money on the sierra
custom cp pistons (with uprated wrist pins)
twin water cooled 44mm tial wastegates
and a ZurawskiMotorsport exhaust manifold
twin scroll, equal length twin external waste gates
so got the engine out of the sierra aswell
