Series 1 Rs Tubo PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
hello ,
I apologise in advance for another ' its cutting out ' problem but i'm up against it now..
long story short...
86' S1 been rebuilt , standard ecu's , new dizzy , leads , was starting and driving but now it cuts out after 1 - 10 minutes and its getting worse.
Fuel relay - checked / replaced
12v straight to coil - still cuts out .
Boost hoses etc all seem tight - no air leaks
Put on standard breather system after rebuild..could be blocked pipe ?
SEEMS to happen when the clutch pedal is pressed...
Please can someone help as im getting desperate.. i can provide more details if required.
Many thanks ,.. Pete

Sounds like it needs setting up properly.Had the same problem with my series 2.Needed the fuel metering unit setting up.JAMSPORT did mine £80 rolling for a road session.

thanks for the reply.
i guess it could be that its just odd that its a straight cut almost like the ignition is cut too it.. then it starts up again.
It was running for longer periods before. Did yours literally just stop aswell ?
