Fart of the Purniture
Dave Brodie used to race Sierra's in the BTCC and BBR is still a sort of tuning place - maybe get in touch with them? Is it the original engine though? The plate on the slam panel might be left over from a previuos incarnation of the car, still interesting though!
Congrats on the MOT etc, I'm sure you'll get to the bottom of the engine troubles.
Will look awesome with the bumper painted.

Looking great buddy and such a turn around. Silly question though whys the front bumper purple? Thought you would have had it painted at the same time as the rest of the car?

good news and bad news the good news is the cars in the garage to sort the bad running out and we think we know whats was wrong with it ? the bad news i set of and did not get there had to get it towed there we think its blown the head gasket so the heads coming of tomorrow to see how much damage i have done might just get the engine rebuilt

good news from the machine shop today the heads ok, just needs skimming, the heads already been skimmed at some point so just needs a thicker headgasket and a couple of the exhaust manifold studs need replacing when we came to slacken the head bolts of some of them where loose. so hoping that was causing the problem so just waiting for all the parts to turn up.

good news for once got the car back from the garage today the over heating is sorted it was the head gasket and also got to the bottom of the overfueling problem first problem found was the light blue injectors we thought they where 4x4 ones but when stu at motorsport developments looked at them he said they where ford motorsport ones, so we have keeped these for the time being (going to sell them) the next thing found someone had put a resistor in the map sensor wiring to make it fuel more this has been removed, and the car has had a bbr chip fitted to phase 3 this is still fitted but when i get the injectors it will be removed and a more suitable one fitted,
it drove home without any problems so i can start putting the last few bits on it and start useing it.
