Does anybody know where i can get a pancake airfilter. As my dad say he used to put them on his fords back in the 80's?

Reminds me of my fiesta it was a 950 cc popular plus in same red I remember one summer me and my dad spaying it up and derusting it I had my wheels of at time and someone got around back off house and nicked mums bike but left the pepper pots lol I laughed as it wasnt that great of bike but it was fact that the wheels was worth more keep up good work

Been a while since i've done any work to the the fezz, but though i would do the battery tray today!

After cutting it out, revealed a big rust hole in the inner wing!

Great project mate I have always wanted a mk1 or mk2 fiesta to tinker with.


Certainly like these projects as opposed to a 'chuck a blank cheque at a tuner' type project!!

Cheers mate, yeah there a great little car to work on. My new plan is to build a series "x" 1100 engine for it, it won't have as much power as some mk2's but it will be different! And still good for 100 odd bhp.

Evening all. Well recently thought I'd pop in to say hello and see what was going on. I must say I was so happy to see the forum was still going strong I thought I'd update this thread. Despite having a few nicer cars these days I still have this old banger. Here is what's been going on.....

First a lot of welding and rust repair









Some new parts...



Some more rust repair

















Engine bay repainted and new batterie tray...




New front panel and test fit of wings...



Touch up of passenger sill and door pillar



And this is how it sits now. Its had to find the time to work on it these days with work and all that. But it will get there
