I'm only doing a small amount of tarting whilst fitting the new engine.
I could have mine on the road tomorrow if I really wanted.

Done a little bit, finished building up the alternator.
Also cleaned, primed and painted the engine mounts
Must say a big thanks to Gaz (kitchen devil) for the shocks as I used the ones from the 4i on the 3dr. I have started to clean them up.

I have finished cleaning up the rear shocks and fitted them.
The poor old girl needs a good tidy up like the 3dr, a job for next year.
And a pic of the pair of them as I have been working on both

Looking good Steve, any idea what's involved with fitting the power brake servo on the wiring side? I've got one here with the abs block I was thinking of fitting but I haven't a clue if it would work without some sort of wiring
