Ex concours Fiesta Van

Ex concours Fiesta Van
I think I must have a screw loose. After selling my black fiesta only a month ago and deciding to wait a few years before I take on another project, I now have a fiesta van sitting in my unit.
To be fair, I saw it on ebay and for the price I paid, and the history of it, I think I got a bargain. Granted, it is not a genuine RS but that doesn't bother me in the slightest.
Anyways, bit of history on the van. These are pictures of pictures so please excuse the quality.
Fast Ford Magazine 1998,
Quite a long time ago now and on a different set of wheels
Performance Ford Magazine?
No date on these but Must be newer as has the OZ wheels fitted.
Random Ford Fair pictures I presume.
Concours Certificates from 99-02
And this is how it is currently sitting in my unit. It still has quite a lot of nice bits fitted although a lot of the brightwork is in poor condition. Chrome usually ins't my thing but I think it works well here so will probably clean it up and keep it.
It definitely requires a new turbo as the old one is fooked. When it was started it also had a noisy lifter or two so will strip the head down and most likely replace most of it and maybe have a nice new cam fitted.
Some of the hoses are blue, this annoys me so they need to be changed also.
Not really sure on what to do with the wheels, they have obviously been a part of the vans identity for a very long time so would be a shame to change them, but on the other hand the van is now mine and I think that there are better suiting wheels available. Will have to make that decision a bit further down the line.
The inside of the van is mostly RS turbo although the van was obviously home to a massive ice install as there are remnants all over the place. I plan to tidy it up and just drop a false mdf floor in to keep it tidy and cover in carpet.

Spent a bit more time today stripping it down. There seems to be oil and water mixture sitting on top of the rockers so more than likely has headgasket issues.
I also noticed that one of the thermostat bolts was missing and after looking further, there is no thread for it either. Looks like it might be easier to source a good ssecond hand head when I remove mine.
Also spent a bit of time just cleaning bits up. Arches came up really well and I also spent 15 mins polishing the intercooler. Came up pretty well.
