ive got a standard 1.6cvh motor in the car. what can be done for more performance, or what is the best engine to put in basicly a straight bolt on, any advise please.

Easiest fit will probably be the turbo charged version of the same engine out of a Mk4 Ecsort RS Turbo or Fiesta RS Turbo if you can get one. Can be taken to around 200bhp for reasonable costs and still maintain good reliability.

1.8 or 2.0ltr Zetec motors can be fitted as well but then your looking as some basic mods to engine / gearbox mounts and wiring and management changes to run them.

most things are possible given enough money.
