I meant does using the base mesurments from the 280 wheel and tyre give you a different set of figures compared to the 7x13's
Offset scrub ect ect. I don't know if they use the same bottom arms, camber, castor settings ect ect.
I presume they are the same but you never know.

well my turbo technics modified fuel metering headunit turned up today so hopefully shouldn't be any lean issues at 6 psi of boost.
picked it up for Ł75 posted aswell which was a good deal I thought
also a pallet came yesterday with the supercharger kit on
I havnt done much with it yet just unstrapped it so I can get the straps posted back to ade.
absolute legend ade I cant thank you enough mate
im gonna get on the hunt for all the literature I can find before I start fitting all the supercharger kit.
and ordered some 2" lowering blocks for the rear aswell today and gaveit a service and fixed an oil leak on the oil cooler modine and adaptor.
picked it up for Ł75 posted aswell which was a good deal I thought
also a pallet came yesterday with the supercharger kit on

there is 2 locations for the kit one on top of the engine and one on the side, my kit is a side kit I think.
from how I understand it the top mount was capri and the side mount was sierra but I have just found a pic of a capri with a sidemount sprintex on
looks to fit in there ok
it appears he has done away with the headertank but I assume it will be ok as the rad has its own top anyways.

lol it sure is fits in there well I reckon, with it not being sat directly on top of the engine im hopeing it will help keep the temps down, I think I will make an exhaust heatshield for the manifold that sits under the blower aswell and run a cold air feed up under the blower and upto the air intake box.
looking at those pics an intercooler is virtually out of the question due to space and layout.
ive got my aem wideband and boost gauge ready to tune it and I will probably get an act gauge aswell.
the main figure I need is what ignition timing I need to limit it to under boost ?

I have asked the best person I know re timing settings also a intercooler would be a good shout if you could make it fit, later on if your going for more boost
I had manifolds and downpipes wrapped on mine. I have seen a pic of the top mount version too.

nothing mad like that mate, I will just set the ride height so I can clear speed bumps. I can run 2" lowering blocks on the back, and I think I can lower the front 3" ok may just need to adjustable bottom arm/top mount to keep the camber sensible.
im not commited to anything yet though first thing is to get the kit held in place with car sitting at the height the bbm wheels will put it at and see what I can do from there.
a bit of arch gap wont be an issue as long as the rims sit flush with the arch lip.
massive, a little daunting but I will do my best
all the running gear that's there will stay.
im not looking for anything mad ive got a 450 r32 gtr and a 640 hp r33 gtr so im not going mad.
front brakes I will no doubt upgrade.
engine, gearbox and lsd are all mint with just 55000 miles so the engine should take abit of boost ok upto around 230 hp.
interior will be staying all stock, thank god its got pas as the front rims are likely gonna be 9js lol
I agree it does feel a shame but if im gonna make a quality rep its no good starting with a rusty turd so I bought this one.
it will also save me a lot of time and money doing repairs, I can be concentrating on the important bit, the kit and wheels

well took delivery today of the front bumper and rear valance
very well packaged and arrived in mint condition
I already have the sideskirts, the 4 new 1/4 wings and rear spoiler are in mold so shouldn't be to long
I cant wait to do a quick trial fit and see how she looks

that is horrendously expensive mate, I bought that kit for Ł750, and also the proper group 5 rear spoiler for Ł550
I cant wait to mock the bits on and see how it will look, i still may need a serious suspension rethink, but if i do i wont need such wide wheels and stupidly expensive obsolete front tyres so the money saved on rim width and front tyres will cover a lot of the suspension costs, then i can sell my bilsteins which im told are worth a few quid ?

Great project mate , I would love to built one myself., woundnt care but have got a full spaceframe built by SHP for a Capri just sat there doing nothing. Maybe one day when I get some spare time lol

Cant wait to see more of this build, thinking about the issue of having it scrapping on floor or having it set to high, could you look at using air ride suspension?
