Few pictures from week before last. Got out in the car to put some miles on it then noticed the heater matrix was leaking lol just my luck. While the coolant was out I fitted some slim fans a new swirl pot as it’s all a bit cramped up front. Also a nice new fan loom with switch inside as well too turn them on. Had the pedal box out and strengthened it also braced the back of the pedal. My pedal seemed bent and had some flex in it. Feels better now it’s back together

Looking good. I did slim line fans couple of years back. So quiet compared to original.
Nice job on the pedals.

getting there slowly few problems to iron out but I’m getting through the list. It’s been stood a long time and I’ve changed so much on it but it will get there. Last big expense should hopefully be the coil overs

I’ll use a set of black art design ones mark uses. There valved and spring rated for fast road to suit a saff. Same as what’s on Rods old bus I think. Probably be end of the year ish I guess. Waiting on my breather pots back from being modified at the moment then I can finish running it in. Get some boost up it and iron out any problems.

I like the words ‘rotation" cut into the fan mounts and the cross over water pipe on there is a clever detail too.

Your nearly there but the last 5% takes longer than you think. Looking forward to hearing what you think of the performance 😁

Been a hectic time for me this year as I unexpectedly had the chance to move to a house with a garage at home. Car is mot’ed and ran in now. I had an issue with the breather pots as they was designed wrong. Mark had a new set made. I just need to fit them then the car can be mapped. I will probably not even touch it until the sun is here next year. But excitement will probably take over and it will get done if we have a little early sun lol. I’ve a few other jobs to sort but once it has some boost up it I can give it a good shake down.

What ever mark deems safe mate. He doesn’t know what this turbo will do on a yb. I guess we we will find out when it’s dry. Should do 650 could possibly do more.
I need to get some time behind the wheel in it. The clutch will take a lot of getting used to but it’s a toy that’s built to be fast so I’m looking forward to using it
