Brooklands Capri 2.8 v6
Well here is my Capri, its a 2.8 v6 Brooklands, it was my uncles but unfortunatley he passed away last year. His sons are not intrested in cars what so ever so it was left to me.
Here is the capri whilst my uncle had it:
So as you can see it had started to go a bit scabby, my uncle did have it painted but it wasnt the best of jobs, my uncle had no problem spending money on the old girl so she wasalways well looked after
Here it is tucked up in its home:

So i got some interior pics whilst it was still tucked away
So one scortching hot day we went down to Birmingham to dig it out the garage and get it home, we went armed with a jump pack, fuel additive and thats it! So here we are getting it out the garage and getting it started!
We managed to get it to petrol station round the corner before going flat so another jump and off she went again!
Got her home alway to Bolton with no other issues, it was missing a bit when floored but i thought this was just cause it needed a service, turned out a HT lead had come loose and was only running on 5 cylinders lol

Well i couldnt leave it outside so i tucked it up in mine for a bit until i moved:
I threw the Focus outside! So i found time to work on it, the car had a battery drain which turned out to be a crappy alarm so out that came:
I also took out the old ill fiting head unit and fitted a sony replacement:

Well time to get the trim sorted! So bye bye for now:
All out of the car:
So the plan is to replace the drivers bolster bottom and top, replace all the piping and replace a centre section of rear seat. Its going to be a while and a push for wonderland, dont be suprised of you see me driving with a laser seat lol

Thanks for the comments! They are a little bit lighter but the camera actually makes them look really light for some reason.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Looks very nice well worth making mint as prices on these are going up.
I had one the same in 95, on a D plate always have good memories of that car.
My one had 72k miles and Fsh the seats were still like new, there's no way those seats have only done 59k and be worn like that. Looks like the trimmer did a superb job on them, nice work .

Open the bootlid and the pocket where the hinges come ou of....feel up in there and see if you are shocked. Either surprisingly by how good it is...or how by how clean rotten it is!!!
