Many Thanks, best give your local dealer a ring don't know if they still do them, the things you think they will have, they don't and the things you think they wont have they have, its a lottery that's for sure, oh and the price of some things

Right first of a few up dates coming, next up the carb.
My friend Carl has been refurbing my carb for me, being a motorbike restorer and a carb specialist I couldn't wait to pick her up.
Anyway yesterday I got the call to say it was done, it's had a full vapour blast and ultrasonic clean, refurb and service kit. Really happy. If anyone wants his details PM me.

Next up, inlet manifold and thermostat housing. These we're run through the dishwasher and once again with just water no detergent. Then all the casting marks were removed and painted in a VHT Aluminium paint.

Simply Stunning. Once I've found a replacement for my old Mercury Grey E plate, which like a fool, I sold for Ł200 back in 2001 I'll be on the PM to your for advice, if I may.
The finish your getting is top class. More pictures please and keep up the good work.

Much appreciated, badges were from eBay, but someone on here has lots of them on there website at about Ł30 each, I,d put a question in GD, I'll also have a look on my work computer as most of my handy links are on that, if it's in there I'll send it over tomorrow.
