Saw this Sunday at Coalhouse Fort in Essex.
Sorry to hijack thread, just saw it and thought of the mk4 appreciation gang haha.
It had headlight brows but my other half was moaning at me taking pics of random cars so I only got the one. Had huge bbs alloys

These 1.8's are terrible to drive as standard! They feel very strained and underpowered.
Blank the EGR valve off and have the insides of the CAT gutted. completely transforms the car and stops it bogging down when it's cold too!
I have a DNA Map too. I managed 74mpg measured driving back and fore Nottingham in August.
I work in Trowbirdge, Wilts and if you want a drive of my car let me know!

My wife used to live in trowbridge, we live about 20 mins from there now. I've got Bluefin on mine now, also got the rest of the kit back from the bodyshop, just got to find a free weekend to fit it all!

I paid Ł270 for mine including a full inspection and diagnosis of the car and a before and after dyno including print outs.
Did you notice much of a difference when you mapped yours?
Mine is faster without a shadow of a doubt but the power is so much smoother and more linear it can actually feel slower.
It does pick up like a train and the fuel economy is superb since the remap.
As standard the 1.8 power delivery is like being hit around the head with a shovel at 2000rpm

Car went in yesterday for exhaust and springs to be fitted. Pretty chuffed with it now so gave it a good clean up this morning. It's not lowered a huge amount, probably about 25mm, I reckon it will settle a bit more but I am happy for now. Just the side skirts to fit now, I have ordered some different adhesive that will set fast in cold weather so will use that instead of tiger seal that takes too long to go off.
Seeing as the sun was out I got some snaps too!

I really liked those ones I posted above but are only available in 20", I think they would kill the ride, especially as I do quite a few miles in it every day.
Settled on these now, I do like a plain 5 spoke and mille miglia have recently re-released these, always loved them back in the day!
Now just got to convince the wife

I dunno. Bit of a gamble really, when I put the 19s on my ST it destroyed the ride so don't want to go too big again. Plus if I stayed with 19s on the mondeo they have the same width and profile tyre as what I have now so ride should be exactly the same. The 20s have a smaller profile tyre so will be firmer. And the 20s are much more expensive lol
