Just 1" changes the ride that much on your st?
If it does make that big a difference better to play it safe then.
*forgot you had this lowered as well.

Yes it was a surprising difference. The springs did firm it up quite a bit then the 19s would crash through bumps in the road and shook the thing to bits. The springs that I've got on the mondeo now don't affect the ride quality at all.
Sticking with the same tyre size that they put on as standard on the mondeos with 19s so hopefully should be ok. Touch wood lol

Nice!
Could you do us a favour Richie. When you take your rear wheels off can you have a look at what the studs are and let me know. Got to change my back discs and pads and need to know what tools I need.

No problem mate, have you got a Haynes manual for it? If not I'll scan the page in and post it if you like.

That'll be perfect mate thank you.
Do you know if the pistons press in it screw in?
It's been years since I've done anything on my own car. I can see this going wrong lol

Not sure if hex type or torx to get them out.
You're a star.
End of the month I'll be posting for help after I cock it up

I fitted the skirts at the weekend and had a little delivery this morning!
Got them straight on and gave the car a quick wash, I'm really pleased with it now

Thanks mate! No they are 19s, I wanted 20's but just didn't want to risk it being too harsh as it is my daily drive.

Thanks mate, might get some clear side indicators for it, then maybe get the rear windows tinted a bit.

Well had a spare headlight in the garage after curing the fault I had a little while ago with the active headlamps, so thought I would do some black eyes. Have looked on the Mondeo forum and they were supposed to be a complete pig to do, but to be honest I found it really easy, had the first headlight apart in 10 mins! I've ordered another headlamp off the bay of E, so will do that when it turns up and whack them on.

Thanks Gents.
Here's one the same colour as mine with the black eyes. Not too keen on the black grilles though.

Yeah. Got to wait till mrs has had her
Licence a year or two till I can get rid.
Shame I've not been able to do anything with it. Kids bleed the bank account dry
wouldn't change that though.
