Default 1988 Landrover Defender 90 Project

Though I would throw a thread u of our Land Rover we are building. It's my brothers mainly, as he's financing it, but I'm lending a hand where I can to build it. And do some panel work.

It's an ex BT Land Rover, hence the yellow paint on the insides etc.

First thing to do with a Land Rover is strip it down! See what we're dealing with.

To be fair, it was in reasonable shape. However, my brother wanted it to be nice so had the chassis shot blasted and replaced much of the chassis, new out riggers, cross members etc.

Then 3M sealed the chassis.

All new suspension being fitted up, everything is brand new and poly bushed. Also running a Disco rear axle with disc brakes.

Yeah, my bro loves them. This is his 4-5 Landy. He's had a few V8's, too.
This was his last one. A V8 110 Crew Cab pickup. Was far too thirsty to be practical, though.

The 200TDi will be plenty to start off with.

I've just got rid of my disco and gone stupid and got a v8 ;( very silly decision indeed lol. A good site for landy's and off roading and stuff is landyzone, I'm on there and it's a good laugh with some good info on everything.

Forgot to add that looks fun as well you can't beat stripping down a landy so easy to play with.

looks good. i dont think you can get a better diesel than a land rover tdi. 200tdi can be expensive to repair though.
im thinking of making my rangey into a pick up when the granada is finished.
