started cavity wax today what a pain in the arse (missus would have went mental if she'd seen the kettle said i needed it for screenwash).horrible sticky crap the 3rd can exploded when i must have kinked the long reach hose in the front crossmember. spent half an hour cleaning up the mess. refitted the sunroof glass greased up all the runners etc works like new.new passenger wing arrived friday so white stonechipped it inside last night and have given it 2 coats of hammerite smoothrite for rust protection. Also got new braided brake hoses and little clips for the brake pipes to replace the ones that have broken off with age:woohoo:

still waiting on some welding being done so progress is a little slow at the moment.treated myself to some of aldis air tools today should make life in the garage a little easier.got some alloy pedals ( i know there ripspeed aargh) on ebay £4 thought they'd tidy the pedals up a little.my old school tin number plates arrived as well like them for the proper retro look .also went to quick fit to get tyres last week and the guy (knowing im a ford nut) told me a kid came in with a focus and new halfords alloys asked to get them fitted and asked the boy to bin these .only a bloody set of 16 in rs 7 spokes, mine for the measly sum of £40 no centre caps but sorted them last night of ebay for £25 . thinkng a nice anthracite grey like the audi rs4's.hopefully i'll have a little more to add next week.

Mate your pictures really are ruining what is a bloody excellent thread. I saw earlier you said you werent sure how to add them in large well the good news is it is dead easy.
Register here www.photobucket.com and upload your pics. Can be uploaded via the Photobucket app for android and iphone too so its dead easy.
Then to the rght of your pictures click the "Direct" link to the right of the photo. This copies the link to your clip board. See image
Then while you are posting on this site just click on the insert picture icon and paste the link that was just copied.
Et voila! Nice big large piccies.
Hope this helps

So when you click on the "Direct" link to the right of the image in Photobucket it does briefly change to "copied"?
And when you are posting you click on the icon that looks like a mountain with a sun "insert image" and just paste.
When I do that the image jumps into my message in full size
Yep did it again

its looking like it may be next year for this old girl to see the road again.ive started tidying up the doors and will paint them next week as there is a little rust along the bottoms and the corners.not had time to get much done due to the arrival of this little man .would rather take my time and do the car right than rush to get finished this summer, besides ive a distinct lack of funds at the moment as well
