My saff cossie updated (25/4/2020)

Last Time, Get Off PF FFS
She was fine the last time I drove her down from Scotland. She is moored up as I am away at the mo. Got to fit new track rod ends and fit a new rear N/S calliper as the handbrake mechanism is jammed open again but that's all for when I return to her.
Missing her

Glenn ,your new house and superb garage look very nice. I must get my finger out and build my new garage as it must be great for you when you want to do some work on your cars.

Next was the bulk heaf panel.
When i first bought the car,it had an aftermarket air con system on it which didnt work so i ripped most of it out except for the air con heater matrix do da.
Time for this to go.
Which left a hole in the bulk had panel. I alao removed the black bulk head panel which was rotton.
Rotton. Its not worth repairing.
The air con unit.

I also tided the battery wires up too cause i thought they looked messy. I came across this stupid link wire.
I cut some of the wires back andput new terminals on and heat srinked them.
I also cleaned the nsf inner wing and chassis leg. I taped the fan wiring to the standard wiring just to tidy it all up.

I put the focus rs wheels back on and polished and waxed the old girl.
So thats about it till march when the mot is due.
I put some pics up in my garage of some proper legendary Fords.
A few pics of the car.
I dont miss the days working on the car on the drive and bringing my jack and tools down stairs out of the spare room to work on the drive.

Bit of a update but not much.
I had a little feature of my cossie again in the rallye news for the second time.
The cossie has ran out of mot so ive got it booked in this thursday. For the last 7 years my mate has moted it for me but now my mate works with me. We are taking it to the same garage so his old work mate will mot it. Hopefully it will pass lol.
Also on the 12th of march just gone i have owned the car for 10 years. Time flys.

Yours is looking good with the latest tidy up you have done. I have just put my brand new Ford amber front indicator lenses on and it looks much better than the wrong clear 4x4 ones .
All the best for your new baby.

Yeh i do my best to look after it. Its been hard not using it but like ive said before i dont want the bodywork to be ruined.
The plan is to get the cossie moted and hopefully when the baby comes i wanna bring them home in the cossie.
