So, due to my impatient nature and lack of ability to not get carried away I made a decision to hurry things along by getting another shell!
Although this time its free from rot, also I haven't done any work welding wise to the black shell and to make it mint would have taken just as much money but would have taken much more of my free time.

So this is where it is at:

Its a gen S2, with a bonus roof skin the plan is to paint it inside and out inc underside fresh powder coated bits, fully polly bushes plex windows and two seats should be nice and light stripped out doors ect.

also got rear disc and some FRS brembos, not sure if I am going to run these wheels tho.

That's if they fit, not sure i will be able to run them as they are 16" and may not fit.
Will have to see once they are all bolted up on the brackets I don't mind shaving abit of the calipers
I do like these wheels and want to keep them

Yeh soon as i seen it i wanted it, always wanted a really clean good spec RST and this will be it, it made sence to get this than repair my black one as i just didnt have the free time.
Just slow going at the moment due to my work but i hope to be getting a decent bit done in in the new year like MTX conversion and ZT being at the top of the list.

A few people have run them now with no issues and tbh when they turned up i was quite impressed with them.

I love the wheels too just not sure yet if they will fit over the brakes, if they dont im thinking of getting some 17" BBS LM in gold hope they will work with what i have planned.

Christian had 330mm brake kit under 16" comps but it was tight and needed slight modifying!

Yeah I was pretty happy with the quality when They Turnt up!
He had to get mine made cause he only had zetec ones with smaller gudgeon pin and I needed 22mm for focus rs pistons!

I just bought focus rs hubs so I can fit brembos - yet to buy calipers and fit tho

few wee updates, its slow going but i am just trying to chip away at it when i have free time but that is in short supply at the moment.
all i have done since the end of last year is get the underside all stripped then undersealed, seamsealer and painted and had my bits powder coated just need to find some wheels now but i can not decide on what to go for, i have a idea of the ideal wheel but they are as rare as hens teath and mega money.

Also got a RS1600i anti roll bar and some adjustable TCAs, a fuel cell and brackets for the brake coversions ill be happy when its rolling around again.

Thanks, when it's done it's going to be exactly how I wanted.
Going for a old school touring car look with a 2.0zt and mtx so a mix of old school looks and newer engine ect for performance and reliability.

Feel really lucky with the wheels they hardly ever come up for sale for a genine set and to have them all bolted up and ready to roll I'm over the moon they are a awesome set of wheels but they wasn't cheap.
But wheels can make or break the look of a car and these are perfect for me.

I have purchased another shell only this time it's rwd.
So will be the same looking red car with the e50s only now it will be rwd.

I'm going to delete my eBay app I Carnt keep buying random stuff from miles away it's starting to take it's toll on me lol

This is how I got my shell and bits home last weekend
