Default Mk3 escort zetec turbo sleeper (engine bay painted 24/8/14)

Thought i would start a resto thread and show you guys my project.
Right the car,1.3escort been sat in a barn with a collection of other cars for 10years

My plan is to make it a sleeper,so i brought a 2ltr blacktop zetec and have brought various focus rs parts and had some left over from my focus rs.

Only a small update because it got dark before i got chance to take pics.
Anywayz managed to strip the interior and really happy that the only bit of rust was on the passenger seat mount.
Cut out the rusty battery tray and my mate dropped my upper sump round with oil return welded in.

just what im building soon, i got a mint mk3 rolling shell thats painted satin black with full mtx conversion, just need to build up an engine and have it painted.

zetec turbos are wicked, i live the one in my fiesta rs, but for my mk3 i want to try and find a frs mk1 tall block or bottom end to use.

keep up the good work so i can keep an eye on it

Could just use a 2litre blacktop engine its the same as a focus rs engine, thats what ive done. Then fitted rs pistons &rods, arp bolts,rs cams, manifold, injectors etc. so iv made my own frs engine lol

Do you fancy a full mtx gearbox conversion with everything to bolt it with craze cage shafts the lot

£250, I'm not going to use it, as I want to go down a different route, I'm thinking n/a with throttle bodies instead
