Not updated for a while but been busy in the garage tonight building up the engine,The focus rs pistons and rods are in,all valves lapped with new stem seals, focus rs head gasket, focus rs cams took a while swapping the shims about to get the right clearnce but got there in the end.
Also fitted the focus rs oil feed adaptor.will sort out few gaskets and the rest can be built up.

Only small update because been busy with work change and waiting on parts.
One piece of my puzzle that has turnt up though is my mounts.
Mr crazycage has done a spot on job with them so very happy.
Taking the car to a friends workshop 2nd weekend of june to do a few weld repairs so once their done then updates should be fairly regular.

Also had the pleasure of working on this beast lately,it was my friends dad who sadly passed away at start of the year.car was left to him nd his brother.got it fixed up as its been sat for few years and we took it to a local classic car show at the weekend.

Cracking find in that condition. Don't be tempted to stick buckets and a cage in though mate lol Mk3 Escorts look the nuts as base specs. Keep it as standard as possible imo

Look forward to seeing the updates.

Been a long time since i updated but havnt really done much since. Ive had various things happning recently but i finaly got the car over to my mate ready for welding (only 2months late)
Dropped it off last week and then popped there last night to see whats what.hes got the car mounted on the spit now, found a couple of lil areas to fix nothing major so happy about that.
While i was there i stripped all the suspension off and brought it back home.
