I bought this a few weeks back and will be adding to this thread. Car is currently having a 3" full stainless system made, gearbox mount raised and alloy boost hoses. I have loads of new parts to fit on the car going for around 450bhp now

Awesome news, it looks a great car!

Are you going for a dry sump or single stage external oil pump for 450bhp?

Lee at devil's said he's happy for around 450bhp with the standard oil pump, he said he has a few still using it around that power. It's something i will do early next year anyway.

After ringing approx ten company's in the south of the uk to get quotes for my custom exhaust, I found 'Edwards motorsport' by luck on a mk1 escort page and luckily for me he was 10 miles away from where i live. The cheapest quote i had for a full 3" stainless custom system was Ł950 (plus vat). This was for a full system turbo back with external wastegate plumbed back into the downpipe, two silencers (for track use) with a 3" outward rolled tip.
Edwards motorsport made me the full exhaust system to the above spec, made a custom rear gearbox mount for focus rs gearbox and 2 custom made alloy boost hoses for Ł950 cash ! And his work is second to none !
here are some pic's

well happy with the work !

Got the cams fitted over the weekend so fitted the rocker cover back on tonight. Also took sump off to get 2 16mm tails welded into it, one for the turbo oil return and one for the oil drain for the oil seperator.

You can either cut or basically just fabricate (hammer) the inner wing. I can take a pic for you later if you want to show you ?

Had these tails welded onto the sump today and fitted sump back on. One tail is for the oil return from the turbo, the other is for the oil drain from the oil seperator. Also ordered one of these for the crankcase breather thanks to 'Will Pedley'

The oil returns should be above oil level to assist the flow of oil. If it doesn't flow back easily, it'll restrict the flow through the turbo.

Hi mate looking good. These items for the return would have worked with no welding at all.Either way your car is looking really good.

be careful with the level of your oil returns mate as said above, especially if you're running a gt series turbo.
you might be fine, just dont like thinking of a smokey turbo after all your work.

Looks awsome, i think you need to do the front splitter matt or satin black for a bit of contrast though! Really nice colour though.

Just a quick update i have had the head off and crazycage has ported the exhaust side for me. He also has made me a turbo hanger and is currently making me an inlet manifold. Fitted the head back on today. Got all the new fuel hose/lift pump etc to finish fuel system so will have more updates over the next few weeks.
