Default Which engine ????????

Got a mk 4 XE3i cab which i am in the middle of doing up.The engine is ok runs fine sounds ok its got 115k on it.Think of changing engine for something a bit newer 1.8/2.0.Been told a zetec is an easy conversion is this true do i need to change ECU if i use one of the above and is it just the inlet manifold i need to change.Don't want big power but a bit more would not be a bad thing.

if you fit a zetec you need to change ecu and wire in the zetec engine loom

the cvh ecu wont run the zetec engine
