Plenty of good events you could bring it to, however I know what you Swedes are like when it comes to getting the back end out! Unfortunately not many events like that here
We need our own Gatebil!

That's one thing I noticed, in some pics it has a turbo and in others its NA.

Why not just build it with the turbo ?

Great work BTW, I wish I had the skill to do it

out in sweden do they make welding and fabrication a compulsory subject in primary school or something? cant believe how many threads i see from someone in Sweden and they all do their own fabrication and welding, 90% of people here have to pay for a supra rear diff conversion, but out there you just get a bit of metal chop it about add a few welds and wallah a different diff fits!

Thats right the plan was that from the begining and had been possible to registrat with at the Swedish car inspection, later on I tought it would be easyer to just finnish up the body and save the Money for a proper Engine build later on. Then for about a month ago the Swedish Car inspectors took away the rule that made it possible to registrate turbo converted Engines. But will ofc build me a proper Engine later on any way

coulde be that the swedes on this forum are few an that they maybe see there Projects worthy Passionford

ooor coulde bee that Everything in sweden regarding cars are expensive and if you are able to do something your self you do that.

Learning by doin

Did I understood correctly, that it's not anymore possible to get turbocharged N/A engines through Swedish MOT? That's gotta suck.

I'm really hoping Finland is not going to follow you guys on that one.

Anyways this is definitely one project I like to keep checking on the progress.

The holidays have been productive. Gauges in Place, wired and ready. brakelines done and bleeded, throttle wire done, windscreen washer nicley hidden under the right front wing and working, windsheeld glued just enough to get it off later when its gonna be painted. The rear firewall is done, made an exit pipe in ss. Then I´ve also build a new bracket for the windsheeld wiper. Singelwiper ofc

then a short video on the singelwiper

Long time since last update.

the snow went by and messed up my plans for the MOT. Then we decided to change garage to a warmer .

No a few weeks later its time to start build on the Car again .

New jdm fender flares are mounted to make it easier to install the wide Rh split rims.

Love this build.
Are they Cayenne brakes maybe?

What were your impressions on your test run? Were you happy with how it went?

Discs and calipers are from Ford Focus rs mk1.

First testrun went well the car handels well for no anti-roll bars. just minor Changes with the front alaignments and the fender flares then Im good.

Car still running . been to the first Swedish gatebil event and it went well car work as its supposed and manage to drive the car sideways, but didnt manage to kill even one pair of tyres so have been working and starting to collect all to the turbo setup . Will start small with just 630cc deka injectors and a BW s200 Turbo. Goal is about 350-400 bhp. And Another goal is to have this running in September for the second and last Gatebil event at Mantorp Sweden.

any idees for rubbor to the leveler?

thanks mate . found this 2 piece RH:s really cheap so just had to have them. Then it always upsets all the stance dudes when im riding sideways on track with this "irreplaceable" wheels .

The Audi 5 cylinder isnt a bad Engine at all .

Work with the turbo setup is moving along nicley. Started to strip down the car yesterday, got the manifold back from the welder also.
