My S2 Zetec Turbo Frozen White Project
#81
Few updates.
Fitted the clutch master cylinder
And the servo replacement pedal box
Got round to fitting the engine! Had to take a few things off alternator, external oil pump, inlet etc. during fitting.
Got my Airtec black radiator through the post and also fitted. But didnt get any pics. Bought a new intercooler from Graham at GRS aswell. Was going to get Airtec to match the rad but the routing of the pipework was wrong. Intercooler getting painted in black to match the rad.
Painted my inlet black
Put my new seats on my runners and fitted them to the car.
Took a drive to see Lee at Devil Developments (where the car will be eventually mapped) and came home with a few goodies. Got a base map put on my ECU, Bosch 044 fuel pump, 3bar map sensor, 4X injectors and an engine loom (which is currently being made)

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
good looking engine bay..
tidy up the welds on the boost hoses perhaps before powder coating ?
they just look a bit out of place with the rest of the work you've done....

No mate the turbo intake side is too big. Its not so close that it will touch but too tight to get any pipework in. Going to be using a mesh screen made by a company called Turbo Guard from the states. The car will only be used nice weather and not in the wet or dirt roads anyway.

You can use the zetec or cvh thermostat housing it up to you, people recommend the cvh one as its metal and wont warp as the plastic ones are prone to leaking also as far as im aware you can use your original coolant hoses with the cvh sat so saves messing about with them too but obviously you have to drill and tap the head for the cvh one
